On Friday, August 15th, Pureland Kava was featured on KRQE's New Mexico Living. Pureland's owner Mandy Vickery educated the hosts about Kava and did a quick taste testing.
Kava may be new to New Mexico, but for over 2,000 years people in the South Pacific have enjoyed it for occasions big and small. Kava is a muscle relaxer. It reduces anxiety & chills out body and mind. We get a small buzz, but no hangover. It also doesn't affect our fine motor skills, so you can drive on it. Kava is safe for people in recovery -- it doesn't light up the addiction center of the brain. Pureland Kava is a LGTBQ+ safe space and introvert and neurodivergent friendly.
